Oh, the excitement on Thursday morning! It was such fun to reconnect with so many of the students and to admire how TALL they have all gotten! One to two inches for most of them! Thank you to all the parents who stopped by to personally connect with me!

Free Winter Clothing!
On October 4, you will be able to ‘shop for winter clothing’ again. Ms. Bonham and her friend will lay out all the donations on the lawn outside of the gym and each class will have a 20 minutes time slot to ‘shop’. At the end of the day, at 1:00pm parents will be able to shop. The rest is donated to WINS in Bowness. WINS and Bowcroft School have a partnership. Any family who needs clothing, can come to the school office. There, the secretaries can print off a giftcard for you from WINS. You can take this credit to any WINS store in Calgary and purchase what you need.
In September, we always have our first fire drill. That way, students know which route to take in case of an emergency, where to go, where to line up, what to do and how to behave. The siren inside is terribly loud, so please let your teacher know if this might be problematic for your child.
