One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Parent societies are a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. More information can be found in our CBE Administrative Regulation 5001 – School Councils and School/Parent Societies.

About Our Parent Society
Our Parent Society is Known as the Bowcroft Parents Action Committee (BPAC)
The Bowcroft Parents Action Committee (BPAC) has been very supportive in organizing fundraising events to assist our school. BPAC organizes a casino approximately once every 18 months. A great deal of time, energy, and volunteer support goes into each casino. If you would like to help or if you have fund-raising ideas, please contact the school and you will be put in touch with either our fundraising contacts, or a member of the BPAC.
Parent Society meetings occur on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 PM.
