Dear Bowcroft Families,
Wasn’t that weekend weather amazing? Sunshine, blue skies, and the unmistakable feeling that spring is finally here—what a mood booster! It’s the perfect time to embrace all the energy and excitement the new season brings.
We’re kicking off a fun new challenge for the month of April:
🌟 “What in the World is That?!” 🌟
Each week, we’ll be featuring a mystery object or place located somewhere in our school.
- Every Monday, we’ll drop the first clue during announcements.
- Each day after, we’ll give you one more clue to help you solve the riddle.
- By Friday, we’ll reveal the mystery item or location!
Students can head to the front office any time during the week to submit their best guess. Everyone who guesses correctly will be entered into a draw—and the winner will be announced on Friday’s announcements! So, keep those eyes open and those thinking caps on!
🌸 April is Sikh Heritage Month 🌸
This month, we’ll be learning more about the rich traditions, culture, and contributions of the Sikh community. Watch for highlights on the announcements and around the school throughout April!
📚 Education Week: April 7–11 📚
This week we also celebrate Education Week—an opportunity to recognize the amazing learning, growth, and community spirit that happens here every day. Let’s take time to thank our staff, support one another, and reflect on the power of education to shape our futures.
Here’s to a fantastic week ahead—full of curiosity, celebration, and spring sunshine!
Warmly,
Jennifer McTighe
