Alien Inline skating has been a huge success. One more week of fun coming up!

BPAC meeting will be on February 12, 2024 at 6:30pm in the learning commons. Please plan on joining us as I will be presenting on our school budget and fees as well as the school development plan. Both presentations will be posted on our Bowcroft website afterwards. By joining us in person, you will be able to ask questions.

The Open House was attended by 28 families. When asked in a survey what they liked about the Open House, the replies centred around: meeting the teachers, seeing the classrooms, being able to ask questions, hearing the children’s choir, the pretzels, and being able to sign up for before/after daycare as well as getting the Police Clearance started all on the same night. We already have 21 registrations! Amazing.

If you are the parent/guardian of a grade 4 students, Alberta Education has sent you a letter/email, asking you to complete the Alberta Education Assurance Framework Survey. Please, please, please, take the 10 minutes to complete the survey. The more parents complete it, the better. If only eight parents complete it, each parents accounts for 25% and it not a true representation of how parents feel about the school. We need a minimum of of 15 parents to

Application packages to special CBE programs are finalized. Ms. Gartshore has been working diligently with our area 1 strategist to put some of our students forward to special settings like Dr. Oakley, GATE, PLP or ALP.

Please be advised that I will be away from school on February 1, 2 and 5 (Thursday, Friday, Monday). Retired principal Mr. Thomas Elbel will be in to support Ms. Gartshore.
