Liebe Eltern, dear parents and guardians
Hope you all enjoyed the spring weather of this week! On the South wall of my home, the first Hepatica and crocuses are blooming. A sure sign that spring is on the way!
But the next winter is just around the corner! As we are growing in student population, we have less and less space for ‘stuff’. This means, that we cannot ‘store’ winter clothing when it’s the spring/summer. This being said: we will have TONS of winter clothing that you can choose from and take home during parent-teacher conferences.
Please plan on shopping and taking a jacket, some boots etc home with you for NEXT YEAR, so shop A LARGER SIZE! Anything that is left over on Friday at 10:00 will be bagged up and donated. If your interview is after 10:00am on Friday, feel free to stop by at dismissal time on Thursday to make some choices.
Hopefully, you have all made appointments for the parent-teacher conferences that are happening Thursday from 4:15 to 8:00pm and Friday morning 8:00 to 1:00 pm.
Staffing
For the first time ever, the CBE has an ‘early’ round for all new school and for schools whose projections are +50 students. This is the case for Bowcroft. This means that we have had our first learning leader position posted for division 2 humanities. This teacher will be teaching English Language Arts and Social Studies to the two grade 6 classes with Ms. Tetz being the Math/Science teacher. Very exciting. Stay tuned to who the new Learning Leader and staff member will be!
Bottle Drive on March 21
If you have any empties you would like to drop off, please do so on Thursday morning.
