Dear Parents and Guardians,

The division 2 choir, who has almost 40 students, including some boys, performed for the first time this year during the Remembrance Day assembly. This is twice as many students compared to a year ago!  Yeah, Ms. Hou!

Thank you to Leadership students, Ms. Tetz and Ms. Hickling for organizing the Remembrance Day assembly. Our grade 6 students are really taking ownership of some of our major events this year. So proud of them! Thank you to the parents who joined this very special assembly, too. Each year, it brings tears to my eyes. The artwork and the student reflections on what the day means for them was insightful and mature.

We also celebrated the lantern parade on Tuesday. Many designs of lanterns could be seen. Creativity knows no bounds! You realize that 360 students are a lot of students when they all walk past you! The lantern ‘snake’ was very, very long!
